We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, recorded without error from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is authoritative in instruction with regard to faith and behavior.1
We believe that within the nature of the one God, there are three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three are co-equal and co-eternal.2
We believe in God the Father, creator of Heaven and Earth. He concerns himself mercifully in human affairs, hears and answers prayers, and provides for salvation through Jesus Christ.3
We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin, Mary. He is true God and true man. He was tempted, yet was without sin. He died as a reconciliation for our sin, granting eternal life in heaven to those who believe in Him. He was buried, rose bodily on the third day, appeared to many witnesses, and ascended into heaven. Jesus will return soon and righteously judge all mankind.4
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who was sent from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and impending judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.5
We believe that all are sinful by nature and are, therefore, under condemnation to death and eternal punishment in hell. Only through belief in Jesus Christ and his work on the Cross, can man receive forgiveness and salvation by grace, through faith.6
We believe the Church is the community of believers under the headship of Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship and glorify God and to stir up one another to love and good deeds. The local Church has the task of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world, making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything commanded by Christ.7
